Ready to step into your creativity in a whole new way? Try writing with your eyes closed.
For this activity, it helps to have some quiet mediation music on. Two sources that you might try are Pandora (create a station of meditation music, or choose an artist such as Deuter or Steven Halpern) or the Creativity cd by Steven Halpern. Sit in a comfortable place with your feet flat on the floor, and your computer or notepad before you. Allow your attention to sink into your feet, until you can feel your feet fully connect with the floor. They may tingle or get heavy or feel as if they are sinking down into the earth. Breathe. Then send a beam of light from the top of your head up to the heavens. Feel your crown opening like a flower of light. Rest quietly and feel the connection down to earth and up to sky.
When the words come, do not judge them. Simply write.
